Namsangol Hanok Village

First day tour in Seoul. We are taking the seoul city tour bus which costs about 10$ per person and it takes us to more than 20 different places in the city. First stop: the Namsangol Hanok Village. It's a place which has been purposely built for tourist, representing the ancien-styled village and house of Koreans. If you have ever seen the "Slip time Dr.Jin" or "Sungkyungkwan Scandal" drama, you will recognize for sure this style of houses.

From the Namsangol Hanok Village, we can spot the summit of the Namsan Tower.

This is where people gathered to have a banquet or to have tea in the afternoon, enjoying the cool air during hot summer day.

In each village there was always beautiful ponds with lotus flower.

There are also some craft men displaying their talent by making all kind of house use tools

Just love Hanbok!

Passing by each door, you seem to enter in a different world!

The interior of each house is also something amazing. The Koreans seem to need a lot of storage. They don't have bed. They use mattress and put them directly on the floor. They don't have chair either: their table is very low. They sit by making a circle with their legs (like in yoga)....

The long corridor of those wooden house is one of my favorite traits in their design.

Here ends our trip to this village... see you at our next stop ;)
